In October 2023 the construction of of a rainwater basin could be completed by the financial support of private donators from Germany. This enables the „Umutara Deaf School“ in Nyagatare/ Rwnda to collect rainwater from roofs for irrigation and drinkwater supply. The construction was leaded by the local construction enginieer and realised by local workers inbetween 1 week (the excavation was aleady done in 2022).

Creation and construction of a rainwater garden with workshop participants and students in Kigali, Rwanda, in October 2023. The workshop focused on rainwater management. Participants included staff from the Water Board, Kigali’s Water Utility and various Polytechnic Institutes. The sessions took place at the Water Utility (WASAC).
